I have been doing some estate sale-ing, and thrifting, and even some alley scavenging. Here are a few pictures of some things that are new to me, That I have brought home in the last couple of weeks.
The Umanoff barstools are so choice. Down in New Orleans there is a shop that we go to every time we're there called Neophobia (much like our T.F.A.). This is where I first saw these stools. They had them labeled as Paul McCobb and wanted some serious dough for the set. But I was hooked none the less. I have a thing for the iron and wood construction. I have the same barstools in the garage awaiting some work as well as a few other pieces of wood and iron furniture. I just let go of a Dorothy Schindele desk that matched this design aesthetic amazingly well.
