Santa Please...

Dear Santa, I would like to start off by saying I've been really good this year. I would love to wake up Christmas morning with a pair of Russell Woodard Sculptura chairs under the tree. I really want the arm chairs, and the low lounge chairs would be the best. The color doesn't matter to me, the black one above is great, but I wouldn't be unhappy with white ones either. I imagine them in my living room, very cozy with sheep skins across. ( don't worry, I already have the skins!)
I don't believe that I asked for anything last year, so I really kind of have my fingers crossed! If the chairs make a tight fit in the sleigh, you are welcome to leave some of my children's things out, they won't know the difference, and they haven't been nearly as good as myself anyway.
                                                                                       Sincerely, Hannah

What does everyone else have on their "never going to happen" Christmas list?

  1. My dream "never going to happen item" is a Hans Wegner Papa Bear chair. But I certainly wouldn't turn up my nose at one of those Sckulptura chairs!

  2. I love Woodard outdoor furniture. I have a set, but it isn't as cool as the Sculptura line. I'd settle for just getting mine powdercoated for Christmas...but if I were really coming up with a "never going to happen" item, I'd have to ask for a Cherner armchair in walnut.

    1. Have you had things powder-coated before? I have no idea what the expense would be- and I'm not sure where to even start to find someone to do it.
But I think the Cherner chair is a wonderful wish!

  3. I've been pretty lucky and found most of what would be on Mr. Modtomic's vintage wish list. I'm just hoping a little for one of those new convertible laptop/tablets. THAT would be sweet!

    1. I was hoping that your comment was going to say," Hannah, Christmas has come early, I have a pair in my garage, and I will drop them off in the morning!" -santamodtomic. Either way, I will keep an eye out at the thrifts for your convertible tablet!
