Faux Go

At the Goodwill in south county, I have always loved this sofa. I would love a nice chocolate brown leather 3-seater. Where you don't have to do any of the breaking in, where parts of it, like the headrest are so deep and dark in color, that you know its had years of love.
I at one other time have come across a Faux Go, at an estate sale, in a off white leather, priced at $250, but it was a much larger sofa than the one shown.
This sofa got my attention, but once I started to look it over, I just felt cheap. $50. Not a bad price, but some things you pay more for to get the quality you were expecting. This sad, dirty sofa only made me feel the same as it looked.

  1. I've found so many cool things at this store. I think the Russel Wright warming tray is the coolest.

  2. I think their prices tend to be high.

  3. I definitely need some more hot spots where I can pick up some cheaply priced furniture, mostly wood stuff. I live in IL but travel to the MO side, especially So Co often. Do you have any suggestions? :)

  4. I love to shop Value Village, there are 4 locations in st.louis, you can look it up and see which one you will be closest to. We shop at any thrift store we can find, and I have to say, it can be hit or miss, but you have to keep at it.

  5. This looks exactly like a Ligne Roset style sofa! Those go for gillions of dollars! Cool!

  6. Yes, it does. I think they call it a faux go, instead of TOGO. I have loved the togo, but after seeing this one I am a little turned off.
